At Valverde you have the option of self catering for your wedding or you can use an outside caterer (Halaal, Kosher (click to view Jewish Wedding gallery), traditional food from your home country). In this case a venue hire will be charged. 

There are two venues available: the Jasmine Chapel and King’s Hall for up to 120 guests, or the Vista Chapel and Olive Lapa for up to 200 guests. Both can be combined with an outdoor Garden Ceremony.

Prices:

This fee includes:

• Use of chapel or garden for the ceremony
• Use of the reception venue with tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glasses
• White or black table linen and white napkins

Not included:

• Chair covers at R15, draping, table decor, red carpet at R250
• STAFF: Waitrons for setting of the tables and for table service during the function. (R25 per waitron per hour, barmen at R35 per hour, supervisor R750 per day). Your Function coordinator will establish how many waiters and barmen are needed depending on the number of guest you invite and they will booked by Valverde accordingly
• Drinks (need to be purchased from our bar, you are not allowed to bring your own)
• Accommodation, Bridal Suite, change room

Ceremony only – No Reception

If you only want to hire the garden or one of the chapels for your ceremony (no formal sit-down reception afterwards), a once-off chapel/garden hire fee of R2 500 will be charged for the use of the facilities. A cash bar can be provided before and/or after the ceremony at no additional cost. You may wish to serve sweet or savoury snacks before or after the ceremony.

We are open for viewing daily from 09:00 to 16:00. No appointment needed.
